Check symbol, timeframe, account type, leverage, GMT offset and minimum lot size.Get the official demoOpen the product on MQL5, choose its demo/testing option, and follow the prompt into the MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal. Sign in to your MQL5 account if requested.Configure the Strategy TesterSelect the EA and its required symbol and period. Choose realistic starting capital, leverage, costs and a documented tick model.Use more than one market periodInclude adverse trends, sideways periods and high volatility. Check a separate period that you did not use to choose settings.Review the losses, not only the gainsStudy equity drawdown, margin, open exposure, losing streaks and transaction costs. Grid and scaling strategies need particular attention.Record the setup before decidingSave the report, inputs, broker, dates and tick model. If you buy, validate operation on a demo account before considering real money.

Backtest ≠ live history. Historical simulation cannot reproduce every real execution condition.

A demo download ≠ a purchase. Testing a product does not grant a live trading license.

Risk level ≠ safety score. Read what the setting actually changes for the selected product.
